NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course

Course length: 8 hours
Course Description:  This course is designed to give students the knowledge, skills, and attitude to safely handle a handgun.  The course involves a classroom portion that ends with a written test and a practical portion that involves the student demonstrating the safe handling and firing of a pistol.

Students should bring a minimum of 100 rounds of ammunition for the pistol they wish to use, a holster if they have one, safety glasses, ear protection, sunscreen if needed (the range is outdoors), and a positive attitude.
Lunch will not be provided so the student must bring whatever food, snacks, and drink (no alcohol) that they will need for the day.  There are no convenience stores nearby so you will need to bring something.
